MRIA adds Expert Evidence Chapter to Code of Conduct
The Marketing Research and Intelligence Association has added a new appendix on “Social Science as Expert Evidence” to the members’ Code of Conduct. The addition is based on Ruth Corbin’s adaptations of chapters she wrote for the Benchbook of the Federal Court of Canada and the Canadian Trademark Law Benchbook. The Appendix conveys the understanding and expectations held by legal professionals in Canada regarding the value that market research services can provide towards the administration of justice.
